Athletics Day in Uganda

On September 6, 2025, Musíš to Říct organized an Athletics Day to support children in Uganda. The event was a day full of joy and meaningful experiences. While the original plan was to host around 50 children, the overwhelming interest tripled participation, and a total of 142 children aged 5–16 actively joined the event.

The children competed in four track and field disciplines, divided into age categories: long jump, javelin throw (younger children participated in cricket ball throw), sprint, and long-distance run. A team of seven coaches guided the children, introducing the techniques of each discipline and giving them the chance to practice and compete.

Every child took part with energy and enthusiasm – and every child was rewarded. Instead of traditional prizes, the rewards were school supplies, a resource greatly needed in this region.

The day brought both joy and tangible benefits, and we look forward to the next editions of Athletics Day.
